Ross suggested we enumerate the common operations likely to be needed for (eg) a quality control run or a case control analysis...

Ross has started playing with this and it appears to be very well thought out and full of interesting features. Will take a closer look at the representation and some timings using large data sets - report back next time
- ASHG
Galaxy/Rgenetics will be featured (with UCSC) in an educational session at this year's Philly ASHG in November - a great honour since software is not often the subject of these sessions.
- BioC 2.2 problems
Changes in R (specifically deprecating the use of the $ sign other than for lists) broke our packages. Last minute panic to get them fixed and back in. Apparently we were not alone...
